Bullpadel Vertex 04

The Vertex 04 is what you reach for when you want to end the point. Bullpadel's flagship for years, and the 2024 version doubles down on what it does well: raw, head-heavy power that lets aggressive players hit shots no control racket can match.

The diamond shape places the sweet spot at the top of the head. Hit it clean and the ball rockets off the face. Miss the sweet spot — even by a centimeter — and you'll feel the vibration in your wrist. There's no hiding behind this racket.

The rough textured surface is the other star. On cut shots, kicks, and second-bounce slices, it grabs the ball in a way smooth-faced rackets simply can't replicate. We found ourselves attempting more aggressive serves just because the racket made them possible.

That said, at 375g and with a stiff EVA Pro core, this is not a casual racket. Three sets is a workout. Our co-host who plays once a week could feel it in his shoulder by the second match. If you're not playing 3+ times a week and don't have a confident, technically clean game, you're paying premium dollars for a racket you can't yet use.
